• This course will meet the OSHA requirements for a two hour asbestos awareness program for all custodial and maintenance personnel who work in a facility that contains asbestos.
• Employees who, in the course of their duties, may be expected to come in contact with ACMs may require an additional 14 hour asbestos operation and maintenance training course.

This training is required by Federal Regulations under:

• OSHA General Worker Protection Standard
  29 CFR 1910.1001 (j)(6)
• OSHA Construction Standard
  29 CFR 1926.1101 (k)(9)(vi)

• Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA)
  40 CFR 763.92
